Hmm… this was a not so good experience. Let me know if you have any thoughts on this.
I had root working, all was fine, installed the clockworkmod apk file, it installed okay, I confirmed, then once it was done I hit ‘install’ it seemed happy there, prompted for sudo, confirmed.
at that point it told me it was installed and it was good, however at this point I hit ‘boot normal’ and it rebooted and the phone is now stuck on the startup screen, and won’t get past there.
I’ve loaded in adb, and have access to the device(good) but can’t figure out why the system won’t boot(bad)
if I issue the ‘init’ command it plays the startup tune and re-runs the startup animation screen, but never completes boot.
Question is, what exactly does this clockworkmod do to the device? and how do I reverse it through the command line?
As far as I know, the CWM cannot be uninstalled without installing a different ROM on to your device. To remove the CWM you will have to flash the stock ROM to your device.
