Hi!,I have 2.3.3 on my optimus one, I have never installed any custom rom.
Yesterday I tried to boot using home+powerkey+vol-down, it didnt open ClockworkMod Recovery instead it uninstalled all apps similar to factory reset…
What should I do now??
Shall I also face ‘no network’ problem?? I even tried to get into ClockworkMod Recovery via rom manager – but my cell restarts , wiping off any app installed..

Good!
The thing u have to do first is that. Go to Google play store/android market and download the rommanager for free. Open the rommanager and then click on flash clockwork mod recovery. Select ur device and wait for downloading the recovery. After it will sows u that flashed clockworkmod successful or somewhat. Now u can press reboot into recovery to go to recovery mode or u can do power off ur device and press the Volume Up+Home+Power button to gather for recovery menu.
The main thing is u have to do Root ur device before doing all these things.
Thanks for posting the detailed way Manojit.

The clockwork mod runs but not with shortcut (vol down+home+power and tried all other shortcuts) so I have to boot into recovery mode through rom manager but thats fine, the bigger problem is-
I can’t install gapps. when I flash the gapps package, device reboot and then I sign into google account but theres no option to install apps after that. and also a dialog appears – gapps crashed. please help bro
Maybe that Google Apps Package is damaged. You can download it from our Gapps Download Article, select the CyanogenMod 10 one.
How do I add my network provider after loading this ROM, does not recognize my SIM or Network.

I have installed cyanogenMod 10 in my lg optimus one, but after initial install and reboot, all i get is a screen showing cyanogenmod and circule rotating clockwise. Any help ?
Ok i got everything working now. Here’s what i did, 1. install cm10 by the great Rashed on Xda forums 2. Install the gtalk provided by Rashed again 3. Then install “gapps light” provided by Rashed. Just follow this order and everything will work smoothly. Dont get gapps from anywhere else no matter how latest the date might be.
@biplab i ran into this problem when i installed the stupid beats audio drivers, i removed the battery to switch off, start in clockworkmod (power+vol up+home), wipe data, factory reset, clear cache, wipe/unmount \data, \ dvalikcache and \system and then followed above sequence. Worked for me
